How to set or reset your combination code: 1. Set the code to the default (0-0-0-0) and pull up the shackle. 2. Rotate the shackle 180°. 3. Push the shackle to the bottom. 4. With the shackle down, scroll the numbers to set your own code. 5. Pull up the shackle. 6. Rotate the shackle back.

Remember to take a picture of the code you have set. To check for defects, try locking and unlocking the lock at 0-0-0-0 straight out of the packaging. If it works, you have a good lock. For smoother operation, you can add some oil between the dials after extended use.
